Along the southeast coast of Myanmar Mergui archipelago stretches for more than 400 Km with over 800 islands almost uninhabited where we find cultures and lifestyles that take us back in time.
Visit Myeik, one of the fishermen’s larger towns in the country, with a strategic business role for over 500 years.
Hope on a local boat and sail among the most fascinating islands of Southeast Asia.

01. ARRIVE IN YANGON - CITY TOUR
Arrive in Yangon and visit Chauk Htat Gyi Buddha Temple, known for the 72 meters reclining Buddha statue, among the largest in Myanmar.
In the afternoon we continue to Kandawgyi Park where we enjoy the beautiful view of the Karaweik barge the sumptuous palace built in the 70s on a royal barge.
We end the day at the famous Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred in Myanmar. The massive bell of the stupa is gold-plated and the tip is embellished with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and topazes. Strand Road – Myeik
In the early morning we catch the domestic flight to Myeik, one of the largest fishing towns around Myanmar, with a strategic business for over 500 years. Here it is produced everything needed for the fishing industry. Once simply known as Mergui, still has a number of buildings dating from the British colonial period.
Visit to a factory where wooden boats are still made according to traditional methods. At the end we visit a laboratory specializing in the processing of soft shell crabs, one of the most exported products.
In the afternoon we continue the visits to Myeik colonial district. The most important street is Strand Road, on the seafront, where the greatest number of activities are concentrated and where the night market and the main restaurants with a vibrant atmosphere are located.
At the end of the day we have 2 options:
– excursion on a long tail boat to Pathaw Pathet island (10 minutes) and walk up the hill to enjoy the incredible 360˚ view of the city and the islands of the archipelago
– walk in the town to Thein Daw Gyi Pagoda to immerse yourself in the local daily life.

03. BOAT TRIP MERGUI ARCHIPELAGO
Kyail Laik Island
We spend the day on boat trip to exploring some of Mergui Islands to enjoy incredible experiences snorkelling in the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, relaxing on the beautiful beaches and trekking in the jungle. The possible itineraries are many. Below we list some that can be combined and customised.
OPTION 1 : Dana Theik Di Island and Chester Islands (Kyal Laik)
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and sail to Dana Theik Di Island (about 3h). The island is known for the various rock formations and boasts one of the best spots for snorkelling. For hiking enthusiasts can enjoy a short hike into the jungle.
Afterwards we go to Chester Island, also known as Kyal Laik Island. The island is known for its beautiful corals and the colorful marine life.
At 3 pm we return trip to Myeik (about 2h).
OPTION 2 : Moken village at Dome Palae Aw, Thayaw Thahan Kyi Island and Smart Island
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and transfer to Moken village at Dome Palae Aw (about 3 hours).
Proceed to Thayaw Thahan Kyi Island for relaxation and dining.
Afterwards we contintue to Smart Island for snorkelling experience.
At 3pm return trip to Myeik (about 2h).
OPTION 3 : Fishing villages, Tha Mee Island and Marcus island (Harris Island)
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and transfer to fishing villages: an authentic experience to know the ancient fishing traditions of this area. Continue to Tha Mee Island where we can relax on the small beach and visit the small waterfall. Afterwards we proceed to Marcus Island, known for its beautiful white sand beaches.
At 3pm return trip to Myeik.
OPTION 4 : Dome Waterfall, Moken Dome Nyaung Mai Village and Smart Island
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and transfer to the Dome Waterfall. We continue to Moken Dome Nyaung Mai Village where we meet the local people and observe their daily life.
After lunch, we continue to Smart Island for snorkelling and relaxing at the beach.
At 3pm return trip to Myeik (about 2h).
OPTION 5 : Fishing villages, Tha Mee Hla Island, Bird’s Nest Rock and Jack Fruit Island
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and transfer to fishing villages: an authentic experience to learn about the ancient traditions of fishing, conservation of fish and the lifestyle that allows for centuries the survival of the people “Sea Gipsy”.
Later we proceed to Mee Tha Hla Island and Jack Fruit Island.
At 2.30 pm we return trip to Myeik (about 2h30).
OPTION 6 : Fishing villages, Mergui Island, hiking and local villages
At 08.00 am we board at Myeik pier and transfer to fishing villages: an authentic experience to learn about the ancient fishing traditions of the Moken people.
Afterwards we proceed to Mergui fishing village, another fishing village with a different style of fishing and survival. Later we hike in the jungle rich in flora and fauna, through hillside villages until Phyan Aw Beach. After lunch we continue to the Thel Dan Kyi Beach.
At 3.30 pm we return to Myeik (about 1h30).

06. YANGON - DEPARTURE
In the morning transfer to airport in time for the domestic flight to Yangon.
