The land of the glorious Khmer Empire
Ancient temples, culture and unspoiled nature
The main attraction in Cambodia is unquestionably Angkor complex temple, the largest historical-religious site in the world with 278 temples distributed over an area of about 400 square km, a UNESCO heritage site since 1992.
Until the end of the last millennium the visit of the country was limited to this area for reasons mainly related to the lack of infrastructures and was considered only as a brief extension of tours from other countries in South East Asia. Today, thanks to the greater political stability and the robust economic growth, the hospitality improved and we can extend the trips to the whole country.
Remote temples not yet restored immersed in the forest allow the indescribable emotion perceived by the explorers of past centuries. The eastern provinces Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri, rich in tropical forests and waterfalls, are still today off the beaten track. Hundreds of kilometers of coastline and numerous unspoiled islands undoubtedly offer an excellent opportunity to relax surrounded by a tropical context.
