THE GLORIOUS CAPITAL ANGKOR
Two days tour at the glorious capital Angkor following an itinerary designed to highlight the historical and artistic aspect and allows to retrace the main phases of the evolution of the Khmer Kingdom.
Are included the unmissable temples Banteay Srei, the citadel of women known for the elegance and prestige of the engravings on pink sandstone, Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world as well as the symbol of the archaeological site, Ta Phrom, famous for the huge centuries-old roots that surround the structures, and finally Bayon, known for the 216 stone faces above the 54 sanctuaries and symbol of the historical passage of the state religion from Hinduism to Buddhism.
Along the way we visit other important historical sites such as Phimeanakas temple, the Elephants Terrace and the Leeper King Terrace.

01. angkor archeological site
Vishnu carving – Prasat Kravan temple
In the morning pickup at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon we begin the visits to the archaeological site following a chronological path from the ancient Prasad Kravan temple, the complex dedicated to the Hinduism cult artistically known for the impressive and unique Vishnu’s brick sculptures.
Following visit Banteay Srei temple, the “citadel of women”, considered the “jewel of Angkor” for the artistic refinement of the bas-reliefs carved on pink sandstone.
On the way back to Siem Reap stop at Pre Rup, the “mountain temple” dedicated to God Shiva. At the end of the visits we return to the hotel in Siem Reap.

02. angkor archeological site
Ta Phrom temple
After breakfast we continue the visits to Angkor Wat temple, the largest religious building in the world built on an area of 2 million square meters, and Ta Phrom temple, one of the most fascinating, still surrounded by huge age-old trees.
In the afternoon continue to “The Great City”, Angkor Thom complex, where stands out the Bayon temple known for the 216 giant stone faces that overhang the 54 towers.
The day ends with the visits to the Elephant Terrace, Leeper King Terrace and Phimeanakas Temple.
At the end of the visits transfer to the airport in time for your departure.
